RESIDENCE RULES AND REGULATIONS

BEHAVIOR

Acts of discrimination or discriminatory harassment based on race, sex, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, age, marital status, disability, Vietnam-era status or a person's sexual orientation are a serious violation of University policy and will be promptly addressed. The use of candles, open flames, explosives, smoke bombs, "flashes," or fireworks is dangerous and will not be tolerated in residence halls or on any U-M facility.

AGE REGULATION

All students residing in University of Michigan residence halls must be ten (10) years of age at or before the time of enrollment. There are no exceptions to this policy.

MEDICINES

All medications prescribed by a physician must be administered by program nurses or counselors. Please complete medical forms and inform program staff of any medications upon registration. Nursing home staff are not authorized to dispense medication.

VISITORS

The room card and ID cannot be loaned or transferred.

LUNCH SCHEDULE

You may eat at any time during the hours your program has set aside for meals. Students may be asked to show a program ID at mealtime. In the event of a lost ID, assistance is always available from the cafeteria and program staff. Meal schedules are provided by your program staff and are also available from residence staff. Students are expected to eat in the assigned dining room during designated meal times. Food allergies must be reported to the program and cafeteria staff prior to the student's arrival.

MOTOR VEHICLES

You are not allowed to bring private cars or motorcycles to the university. If it is necessary for a student to drive, discuss the permit and parking with the program organizers. Throughout the program the vehicle must be registered and the keys handed over to the organizers/supervisors of the program. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Authorization and Release

  1. I am the parent or legal guardian of a minor attending iD Tech Camps. I give permission for my child to be on the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”) campus for iD Tech Camp on the dates for which I have registered. iD Tech Camp activities include computer programming and application design; Free time activities.

  2. I understand that iD Tech Camp is a separate entity from Caltech and is in no way affiliated with Caltech. I understand that iD Tech Camp has merely contracted with Caltech to conduct its camp on the Caltech campus and that Caltech has no involvement in the camp, including, but not limited to, not supervising or tutoring my child. I understand that my child's participation in iD Tech Camp is completely voluntary. These additional terms and conditions are designed to ensure student safety and make iD Tech online programs positive and productive. By purchasing, using, or allowing your student to use any of iD Tech's online programs, you agree that you and your student will comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and the found iD Tech Terms of Service.HERE.In cases where these Terms of Service and the iD Tech Terms of Service conflict, the terms contained herein shall govern any iD Tech online program or product.

A. General information

  1. Multi-lesson packages are intended to be used in their entirety and unused lessons will not be refunded.
  2. Subscriptions renew each month on the date specified at the time of purchase.
  3. All lessons must be scheduled within one year of purchase. Lessons expire one year after purchase, with no refund.
  4. Online individual tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Lessons not used before the expiration date will be forfeited and cannot be refunded in whole or in part.
  5. Lessons can be rescheduled for any reason up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson through My Account. If your student misses a scheduled lesson, the lesson will be deducted from their available sessions. Changes cannot be made within 24 hours of the start of the lesson. At the completion of each lesson, a post-lesson progress report will be sent to your registered email address.
  6. Tuition is only available for subjects specified by iD Tech.
  7. Instruction is given in English only.
  8. For security reasons, iD Tech records each lesson on video. Parents and guardians can request that a video be removed by sending an email request toprivacidad@idtech.com. If there are several students from different families in the class, we must keep the video to protect the privacy of the students. Unless required by law, we cannot provide copies of videos.
  9. Basically, only one student is allowed per lesson. However, iD Tech reserves the right to allow parents to share their lesson link with another student. All students who attend classes are subject to these Terms and Conditions, including our Code of Conduct.
  10. iD Tech has the right to refuse service.
  11. Tuition is an orientation/tutoring service only. No specific results are promised or guaranteed. iD Tech is not responsible for any specific results or the lack thereof.
  12. Students who take four or more SAT® prep lessons are eligible for a $100 rebate if they demonstrate a 100-point improvement in their SAT® test scores compared to a previous PSAT® or SAT®. Both the entrance test and follow-up test must be taken within 18 months of the last SAT® prep lesson you attended. To request a refund you must complete the form at this link:REGISTRATION FORMwith the student's name, email address associated with the class/iD Tech account, and attach images or scans of official test result announcements to the submission form. III. Equipment and other accessories

  1. Third party equipment and add-ons may be sold with classes or lessons, but in doing so, iD Tech is only acting as a carrier or agent to ship the equipment/add-on.
  2. iD Tech does not warrant the suitability of any device or plug-in purchased, nor will iD Tech be liable for any injury or damage caused by the device or plug-in purchased.
  3. Equipment and supplies can only be shipped to physical addresses within the continental United States (no PO Boxes).
  4. Please contact the manufacturer if you experience problems with the device or plug-in.
  5. Make sure there is at least two weeks notice between the purchase of the add-on/equipment and the date of the first class/lesson that includes the equipment or add-on.
  6. Equipment/add-ons are not returnable or returnable.

You certify that your student is in good health and able to participate in program activities. You authorize the program staff to care for any medical condition or injury your student may sustain while participating in the program. You acknowledge that you are financially responsible for any required medical treatment during the duration of the program. You authorize iD Tech staff to take your son/daughter/ward to relevant attractions, the pool (if available), campus tours, and facilities within walking distance of the program, both on and off campus.

You give your student permission to visit the locations described below during their time at iD Tech. You understand that your student will be supervised by staff while walking.

From time to time, staff will take students on and off campus to visit a local location. This may include a visit to another building on campus, a tour of campus facilities, a trip to a park, a trip to a local mall, or a trip to the movies. All events would be within walking distance of the program facility.

Important Note to Participants and Custodial Parents and Legal Guardians:By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you understand and agree to all of the above. The effective date and time of this Agreement is the date and time that you accept these Terms and Conditions.

COLLEGE PREPARATION: COUNSELING SESSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure student safety and make counseling sessions positive and productive. By purchasing a College Prep: Counseling Session, you agree that you and your student will abide by and be bound by these Terms of Service.

I. Code of Conduct

I certify that I have read and understand the Code of Conduct set forth below and agree that I and my student will be bound by it. I also agree that I have reviewed the Code of Conduct with my students. I understand that my student and I must act in accordance with the Code of Conduct and that my student's counseling session may be canceled if any of our actions or attitudes appear to harm the atmosphere or staff in the opinion of iD Tech staff. My student and I understand that iD Tech reserves the right to cancel my student's counseling session without notice for violating any provision of the Code of Conduct.Refunds will not be given if a session is canceled due to student or parent failure to comply with the Code of Conduct.. I also acknowledge that by observing my student during the counseling session, staff may determine that the program is not an appropriate and/or productive environment for my student. In this case, iD Tech may cancel the session and no refund will be made. iD Tech strives to maintain excellent student relations. However, in some rare cases, iD's technical advisory sessions may not be a compatible environment for all students.

Students and parents/legal guardians should NEVER:

  1. use or threaten violence;
  2. harass, intimidate or harass others;
  3. use this Service or any materials provided as part of this Service for any illegal or immoral activity;
  4. use inappropriate language;
  5. sharing session information with third parties without permission from the instructor;
  6. Pretend to be someone else;
  7. view the session publicly;
  8. sexually harass others;
  9. displaying pornography or inappropriate material (including sexual content, inappropriate violence, racism, bullying, etc.) during the session; either
  10. personally contacting instructors outside of the session without permission from iD Tech as described below;


Students and parents/guardians MUST:

  1. abide by the rules and regulations of the instructor and iD Tech;
  2. attend meetings in a reasonable and private setting;
  3. dress appropriately during the session;
  4. comply with the terms of use of all websites used, including compliance with established age guidelines; AND
  5. Only share material related to the session that is appropriate.


II. Session overview

  1. I understand that a session is one hour long and is offered between August 1 and October 31 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. m. to 9:00 p.m. m., Pacific time.
  2. I can only purchase one counseling session per student. Any session not used by October 31 of the season in which it was purchased will be forfeited and non-refundable.
  3. Sessions will only cover topics determined by iD Tech.
  4. Sessions are taught in English only.
  5. For security reasons, iD Tech records each session on video.
  6. Only one student is allowed per session.
  7. I agree that iD Tech has the right to refuse service.
  8. I understand and agree that this is an advisory service only and no specific results are promised or guaranteed. iD is not responsible for any particular result or lack thereof.
  9. Sessions are only available to students over the age of 13.
  10. Students must have completed all iD Tech courses for the season before the advisory session can take place.


3rd Schedule/Reschedule Session
